Why We Partner

As a family-owned, American-made company, we’ve learned that supporting family extends beyond our own. It’s about standing behind families across the country especially those of the brave men and women who protect our freedoms and our communities.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with Folds of Honor, helping provide educational scholarships to the families of America’s military members and first responders who have sacrificed so much.

About Folds of Honor

Folds of Honor is a leading non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.

Folds of Honor was founded in 2007 by Lt Col Dan Rooney and has grown from a vision into a movement. The folded flag is a constant reminder of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. It inspires us to help equip and educate their loved ones in need of our support.

Allie’s Story

Allie McCrea’s dad, Kevin, was a U.S. Army Specialist who sacrificed his life in service to his country after he was fully disabled due to a spinal cord injury. Two weeks after Allie graduated high school, Kevin passed – leaving behind a legacy of honor, commitment, and a passion for education. Thanks to her Folds of Honor scholarship, Allie got a degree, went to graduate school, and now works in the hospital that cared for her father, giving back to other patients with spinal cord injuries.

Stephen’s Story

Stephen Frederico was working multiple jobs and even lived in his car at one point, but he dreamed of making it through medical school, driven by the passion to never squander the sacrifice his father, a former U.S Marine, made for him during his years of service. The generosity of Folds of Honor donors made it possible for Stephen to receive a scholarship and pursue his dream. “It’s allowed me to be financially free and just focus on finding how I want to give back to the world,” Stephen says, “and that is a precious gift.”

Liz’s Story

Liz Brees was just three years old when her father, Lieutenant Commander Raymond O’Hare died a hero while serving his country. When she received her Folds of Honor scholarship, she was able to finish college free of debt and immediately swore into the U.S. Air Force, where she will complete medical school. Thanks to the generosity of Americans like you, Liz now gets to “pursue my dream of caring for children in the military and caring for our military families through medicine.”
